Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb beef steak sirloin, ribeye, or NY strip, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 large russet potatoes diced into ½-inch cubes
  • 4 cloves garlic freshly minced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Step 1 – Prepare Ingredients

  • Trim fat from steak and cut into 1-inch cubes. Pat dry.
  • Dice potatoes into small cubes.
  • Mince garlic.

Step 2 – Cook Potatoes

  • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Cook 8–10 minutes until crispy and golden.
  • Transfer to plate.

Step 3 – Sear the Steak Bites

  • Add 1 tbsp olive oil to skillet.
  • Increase heat to high.
  • Add steak in single layer, sear 2–3 minutes per side.
  • Do not overcrowd. Remove and set aside.

Step 4 – Make Garlic Butter Sauce

  • Reduce heat to medium.
  • Melt butter, add minced garlic.
  • Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Return steak and potatoes to skillet.
  • Toss to coat in sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

- Pat steak dry for better sear.
- Soak potatoes in cold water and dry before frying for extra crispiness.
- Use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder for the best flavor.
- Cook steak and potatoes in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
