Ingredients

  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • 8 oz goat cheese softened
  • 2 –3 jalapeños finely diced (remove seeds for less heat)
  • 4 oz cream cheese optional, for extra creaminess
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Olive oil or egg wash for sealing the wrappers
  • Cooking oil for frying (or cooking spray if air frying)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, add the softened goat cheese (and cream cheese if using).
  • Finely dice the jalapeños. For less spice, remove seeds and membranes.
  • Add garlic powder and onion powder.
  • Mix until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.

2. Assemble the Egg Rolls

  • Place one egg roll wrapper on a flat surface in a diamond shape.
  • Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of the filling into the center.
  • Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, fold in the sides, and roll tightly.
  • Seal the top corner with water, olive oil, or egg wash using a pastry brush.
  • Repeat for the remaining wrappers.

3. Cook the Egg Rolls

  • Frying Method
  • Heat 2 inches of oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Fry egg rolls for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Air Fryer Method
  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly spray rolls with cooking oil.
  • Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway for even crispiness.
